This innovative concept was developed by Dulux in response to a growing number of requests from customers like yourself seeking professional decorators whose work is of such high quality and reliability and backed by a leading brand such as Dulux.  As Britain's leading paints manufacturer, with access to skilled professional decorators across the country, Dulux is in an ideal position to select the very best professionals and guarantee their work. Dulux Select Decorators members are independent businesses that have been vetted to provide the very highest industry standard in painting and decorating.

 

How are scheme members selected?

 

Every single member has been carefully chosen for their quality of workmanship, experience, reliability and above all excellent customer service. This is not a one off selection process; monitoring of members' work is an ongoing process.

 

Your 2 year guarantee.

 

Your decorator will guarantee their workmanship for 2 years from completion of your job providing products in the AkzoNobel Trade brand range are used.  Dulux will underwrite your decorators workmanship guarantee for the same 2 year period.

 

Please note:Poor substrates, inadequate specification made by home owners and severe climate exposure can result in early breakdown on surface coatings. Your Dulux Select Decorator scheme member will advise accordingly. If such work is undertaken it will not be covered by the Dulux guarantee. This will be clearly stated by the scheme member in their quotation/estimate and you will be issued with a Dulux workmanship guarantee disclaimer form. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

 

How the guarantee works.

 

Your decorator is the only person who can offer you a guarantee and will explain exactly how this works. Please ask to see the "Introductory leaflet" which will include all you need to know about the 2 year Dulux workmanship guarantee along with the full terms and conditions.The Dulux code of conduct - for more than just a good job.Every member has signed a binding agreement to abide by the Dulux Code of Conduct,laid down to ensure that the highest standards are met in every aspect of their business practice. In other words, in addition to quality workmanship,you can be sure that all members will give you a fair and competitive price, will be honest in their dealings with you, will carry adequate insurance cover, will respect your home and will comply with any relevant health and safety and building regulations.
